Customers on older versions of Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint on Windows are experiencing problems automatically activating their polls in PowerPoint when presenting. We are aware of the issue and are currently investigating.

If you are experiencing this issue you can work around it by pressing the small activation button in the upper right when presenting the poll, upgrade your version of Microsoft .NET at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56115, or upgrade your version of the app for PowerPoint at https://www.polleverywhere.com/app/powerpoint/win

The issue with activation in older versions of Poll Everywhere for PowerPoint has been resolved. All customers can now freely present. We are taking steps to prevent this issue from arising in the future. The elevated error rates lasted from 4:00 PM yesterday to 4:00 PM today (Pacific Time).

The issue with SMS short codes has been resolved. All users have been reverted to the 22333 and 37607 shorcodes and texts can be sent and received as expected. This outage lasted from 4:30 PM on July 2 till 12:25 PM on July 3 (Pacific Time). Any texts sent during this time period cannot be recovered and we are taking steps to prevent this issue from arising in the future.

Some customers are experiencing SMS message delays with the shortcodes, 37607/22333. Outgoing messages may be delayed or not received/sent at all. We've temporarily switched all users to a 10-digit number. We will provide an update by 10:30 am PDT.

The issue with My Polls loading on Internet Explorer has been resolved. All customers can now access the site via Internet Explorer. We are taking steps to prevent this issue from arising in the future.

The My Polls dashboard is currently inaccessible via Internet Explorer. We are aware of the issue and are currently investigating. No other browsers have been impacted, and all content can be accessed through Safari, Firefox or Chrome. We will provide an update by 11:00 am PST.
